Class Overview:

 

The 'Twinkle Tots' program is for children who are ready to take instruction from a teacher and work independently from their carer. Children are introduced to the idea of working in a group under the guidance of their teacher.

 

Twinkle Tots is the same program as Tots but for those children who are a little older and are ready to work on technique while using ballet terminology.

 

The program aims to present a ballet class in a way that will keep a small child's interest by having fun and being imaginative.

The program revolves around a single theme which lasts for a term, allowing the child to become familiar with the routine of the class.

 

The class offer dancing to music, use of props such as ribbons, wands and musical instruments. Basic movement co - ordination of gross motor skills - important skills are implemented to teach our children the basics of dance.

 

There is a strong narrative and theme but the Twinkle Tots class is structured like a Classical ballet class for pre-school children.

* Class sizes are limited to 13 children per class.

* There is NO enrollment fees, and NO set uniform to wear to class
